Midland Bowl 5th September

I'm not sure if members are aware that one of the founding principles of the Midland Bowl was to rotate the event around six of the premier courses in the Midland Region based on a three year playing cycle. We first played the Bowl in 2017 at Little Aston GC which, if times had been normal, would have necessitated a move on to another location in 2020. As it was, the Bowl event was postponed in 2020 due to Covid, and then simply rolled over into 2021, again played at LAGC.   

With the Covid situation seemingly being better controlled, The Regional Steering Committee now feel that the time has come to return to the founding principle of rotation. With that in mind, I am pleased to inform you that Midland Bowl will be played at Trentham Golf Club for the next three years.

I am sure that the Bowl will continue to draw a very wide range of members to participate, and will continue to be supported by surrounding regions of the GCMA as well. More details will follow in due course, but for the time being please add 5th September 2022 to your golfing calendar.
