Congratulations to all squad members, a whitewash victory 6 - 0!

Our Captain, Ivan Taylor was unable to play in this event due to the continuing illness of his wife, Marguerite but did welcome all, before departing for the hospital and afternoon visiting period.

Generally a dry day for most, although the late starters did get wet towards the end of the day, on a typical late Spring showery day.

Tom Duke, Vice-Captain ably stood in for Ivan, and assisted by Clive Hadley and Adrain Dibble in selling Regional shirts to all team members then without them, reports that, in all, a brilliant day was had by all. The course and food were excellent and he took the opportunity to personally thank Zena in the office, the catering staff and bar manager for looking after us so well and allowing us to hold our match there.

Such a shame that HS2 will destroy this magnificent heathland course, but such is the march of progress.
