This year marked the 40th anniversary of the fixture, first played at Trentham Golf Club in 1976. Sadly, the result of an honourable halving 3 -3, unfortunately that means that the Moorcroft Trophy will not be returning to it's home in the metaphorical Midland Region Trophy Cabinet, for another year.
Photo's of the four balls will be posted in due course, but for the time being an honourable draw is reported, our season has so far been a mixed bag, with just the Welsh fixture to play next month.
